The idea behind Cube Furniture first began as just a conversation among two brothers. With an intention to provide good quality, well-designed, competitively priced, and dependable furniture, Mr. Mahendra A Shah along with his brother, laid the foundation of Ajay Industries, in 1976. For many years, it was a popular and leading name for furniture in central Bangalore, and in due course of time, his sons Mr.Himanshu M Shah and Mr.Vikrant M Shah joined him in taking the business line to new heights. In 2004, the company was renamed Cube furniture and became a market leader in the office-furniture segment turning out over a hundred different models of office chairs and also specializing in custom furniture for office spaces. This customized service demanded a lot of interaction with experienced architects, and these interactions sparked Mr. Hemanshu’s interest in venturing into the real estate space and led to the establishment of Dasta Developers (www.dasta.in) Since then, Mr. Vikrant has been heading Cube Furniture which went on to become a name synonymous to quality, comfort and cost-effective solutions for all furniture-related requirements. Today, Cube Furniture provides classy, contemporary, customized furniture solutions ranging from an exclusive range of chairs, office furniture, seating solutions for cafes, malls, and a wide range of institutions, not only in Bangalore but in other major cities across India as well.
